I painted this after a recent dream where I found myself in a serene, spa-like setting with tall marble walls, smooth jade floors, and sunlight streaming through every window. I was bathing in a large glass soaking tub adorned with flower petals. I felt completely present and at peace. Simultaneously, a warm and loving energy flowed toward me from down the hallway, emanating from behind. In the dream, I experienced both perspectives—myself in the bath and the energy that was drawn to me.

I believe this dream symbolizes the integration of the shadow work I’ve been doing over the past few years. I’ve reached a place where I can genuinely say I accept myself—flaws and all—and recognize my inherent worth.

When you fail to see your own worth, you may seek it fruitlessly outside yourself. I did this for a long time, searching outwardly for love, truth, comfort, inspiration, confidence, and kindness. But every outward-facing journey eventually circled back to the same place—me. It turns out that everything I so desperately longed for was within me all along.

Right now, you are whole and complete, lacking nothing. You don’t need to have, be, or do anything to be deemed worthy or “enough.” Your worth is inherent simply because you exist. While you can continue to grow and become more of who you aspire to be, it’s important to remember that it’s okay to love yourself right where you’re at.
